Juan David Galindo (Bogotá, 1992) invites us to attend his performance / conference that will take place on Wednesday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the projection room of the gallery.

The conference is titled 'NOWhere in the middle of the ocean' and is related to his latest production, the audiovisual piece 'Sea Standing' that premiered in the same room during the LOOP Barcelona festival.

NOWhere in the middle of the ocean is a project that explores the post-humanist-tropical imagery through the study of projects of islands and artificial beaches: floating hotels, military bases, sale of islands, floating cities, videos of paradisiacal beaches. They are a range of projections that Juan David Galindo presents to us in an artistic conference to address the thin line that separates utopia and dystopia and the relationship between dreams and the material conditions of existence.
